In all the fuss yesterday about what is going on right now I forgot to mention projects I already have underway.

I already have a site of my own up and running. It’s my, and my husband’s, local construction company:  countrysideconstruction.com.

Did I mention that I have a full-time job as a web designer? Or that I’m a registered Mensan? A Mensan’s mind is always ticking with hew ideas…

Boy, I’ve got my hands in many little projects. When things aren’t going so well, I get busy. Here’s my list of downers…

• First, my husband is leaving for a year to work on the other side of the country
• My daughter just split up with her husband, finally…
• My Mom passed away earlier this year after a long illness

And here’s what I’m doing about it…

• I’ve started my weblog
• Built my portfolio site
• Started a site ‘for webmasters, by webmasters’, still under construction at marketspring.net
• Built a private family blog, and am working on a companion picture upload/swap site. You can’t have the link to this one, private of course…
• Just located my 7 year old grandson in Arizona who I haven’t seen since he was 3. We found his Mom’s MySpace page!
• And, just got a fancy new 20″ iMac that ROCKS!!!

When life throws you lemons, make lemonade, right?

Ah, just another day at my day job. Server issues from a server upgrade last night… clients freaking out. What’s a girl to do?

Good thing I don’t use my day job’s servers, eh? No, I use 1&1 to host my websites. Haven’t had a problem yet either. Check them out. They have packages for beginners through pros.
